| I prefer on the wall, 45 degree angle - caput upwardly. Just use a series of small-scale nails (carpet nails work well) to tack the underlayment / felt bankroll to the wall. Some rugs accept metallic rings sewn on the underside to hang with, and you tin can tack with the smaller nails to flatten / straighten. | |

| I've got mine laying on the dorsum of my couch in the basement. Looks pretty cool. Except if you lot sit down and get a claw up your backside. I will eventually tack it upward on the wall. I but demand to figure out where? __________________ I'm really cool. | |

| Put information technology on the wall back feet toward the ceiling. I assume it has a caput with perhaps an open mouth, if and then you can put the caput on one of those 45 degree angle EURO mounts then it sticks out to display the open mouth. You need some room for that to look adept though. __________________ You "Kill" what makes "YOU" happy | |

| The wifey came up with a great idea for mine. They brand the round top quilt rack that y'all tin can mantle the rug over. Makes it like shooting fish in a barrel to move around the room or house and a adept conversation piece and folks can hands run their fingers thru the fur. You can just option the rug up off the rack anytime. It doesn't take much floor space at all. This rack is about three' loftier, 3' wide and 12" depth. Kinda looks like a big floor wine rack with out the canteen holders. And of course the top is rounded. | |

And of course the summit is rounded. Not bad idea. Got any pics? I remember I may try that. And as well if I tell my married woman that your married woman thought of this she is more likely to call up its absurd. Funny how women can't recollect you lot accept a good idea just if someone else especially another women comes upward with the aforementioned idea its great! Ask and you shall receive.... I'thou sure these quilt racks come in different sizes and designs. Yous could probably even make a nice i out of cedar, oak or burnt pine. The but other thought is if you have a fiddling pooch, hopefully he'due south non the horny kind and won't dry out hump the leg or the caput. Anyway...this may give you (or the wifey) an thought to work with. For the taxidermists out in that location...this maybe a product to offer your comport customers. Just send me a small percentage. | |

| Hanging the rug on the wall is the all-time mode to get information technology upwards and out of the way - and out of reach. Sometime curious petty hands (and large drunken ones...) tin can be damaging. Stapling or tacking the rug straight to the wall is an option, and it is easy to do. Of grade, the drawback is you have quite a few staple holes to patch when y'all rearrange to make infinite for that new deer head(s)! Another good way to hang it is to get luan plywood, and trace your rug on it, cut it out with a jigsaw virtually an inch in from the exterior edge. Attach 2 hangers to the dorsum, and staple your felt to the plywood by lifting the top layer of felt and stapling through the bottom layer where the height layer will hide the staples, assuming y'all have a double felt backing. | Hung mine up facing downward on the wall and mine had the hangers sewn into the felt so I used nail to concord it upward. Areas where it wanted to pull off the wall I used a heavy duty tack betwixt the layers of felt and it seems to hold up nicely. I wanted to put it on the flooring but was agape my dogs would recall information technology was theirs __________________ Shaft Assassin's Bow fishing Team | |
